I'm sold, I've been bouncing around from salon to salon since I moved here, I haven't felt comfortable with salon or stylist until my visit to Salon Agape.
I didn't have to wait at all, Anneliese got me right in. She shampoo and massage my head and took her time, which I appreciated. I usually have to instruct stylist to cut more or less off here and there, she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it with no further instruction.
When she was done it looked great, she even gave me another shampoo to get rid of the cut hairs. Once again she took her time.
I pretty sure I'm be a return customer.

Ladies (and gentleman) looking to get their skin glowing need look no further than a spa treatment with Dayna Demeulenaere. The lady is a magician with Aveda products, a skin care expert who is passionate about what she does. Her bubbly personality is the best!
She was able to turn my stress prone skin into a work of art for my wedding day, in just a few short months. I listened to everything she said, followed her facial schedule, tried every super sample she sent home with me (she won't pressure you to buy anything you're not 100% convinced will work) and I couldn't believe it. I looked like I was airbrushed for my wedding day. No joke. Forget the veil ... my best wedding accessory was my skin!
I've since moved out of the Detroit area and I every time I come home to visit, I'll be sure to call up the good people at Agape Salon (Nate is equally fabulous) and make an appointment with Dayna D!

I had never been to Salon Agape before, but when my stylist at my regular salon was booked on the day of my engagement photos, I called around Novi to find a stylist who could style my hair for me that day. I wanted a blow out with a few loose curls and a style that would stay put in the heat and humidity that day.
The first salon I called was Gina Agosta in Farmington Hills. Because I told them that I wanted my hair styled for engagement photos, Gina Agosta quoted me $71!!! I was shocked, so I clarified, saying that I wasn't looking for a complicated updo, just a few loose waves. They told me again that it would still be $71 because it was for a special occasion, so I told them "thanks, but no thanks!"
Thank goodness I found Salon Agape. I explained what I was looking for when I booked my appointment and they scheduled me with Renee. Renee is a Level II stylist and charged me $28 for my appointment. (Salon Agape is an Aveda Salon and services are priced on the level of stylist you book with.) Renee was friendly and stylish, and gave me the exact style I was looking for (I brought a photo). I told her that I was nervous about my hair falling flat with the heat and humidity that day, so she used Aveda smoothing products and a little bit of extra hairspray to make sure the style would stay.
The wash, blow out and styling took about 45 minutes and I left the salon around 1:00pm. My hair style lasted through my engagement photos at 5:00pm and still looked cute later that evening when I got home!
Salon Agape is located on Grand River in Novi in the same complex as The Mixx Lounge and Gus O'Connor's. The salon is modern and clean. I will definitely go back in the future and would highly recommend it, especially Renee!

I LOVE this place!! When I lived in Chicago I would make special trips home to Michigan just to have my hair done! I went to 2 different stylist while I was there because the first one left :( They both did a great job with my hair and were very nice. I have also had a facial, massage and manicure here. ALL of them were wonderful!! They were so wonderful, I actually gave gift certificates to here for my mom & stepmom for treatments for mother's day and Christmas. They both really enjoyed their treatments as well. They offer a wide range of services in all price ranges. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the have hair stylists at different "levels" and their price for hair is based on their level. I actually had seen the lowest level person initially and was not disappointed, so I stayed with her! If your looking for somewhere to get a treatment of some kind or for a great haircut, I highly recommend this place!! I'll also be jealous that you can go....now that I live in Miami, I'm going to have to find somewhere local :(
Oh, by the way...they have pretty extended hours. You can pretty much get in whenever. They are even open pretty late on some weekdays!
